*Day 1 – Arrival & Briefing:*
Upon touchdown at Kilimanjaro International Airport, we’ll transfer you to Kili Villa, where your guide will meet you for a detailed briefing and equipment check.
*Accommodation:*
Enjoy a full board stay at Kili Villa (www.kilivilla.com), offering superior villa accommodations.
Day 2 – Kili Villa to Momella Gate (1,580m/5,180 ft) to Miriakamba Hut (2,500m/8,200ft)*
*Elevation Gain:* 920m/3,020ft
In the morning, journey to Arusha National Park, registering at the gate before embarking on your trek with a guide and ranger, essential due to the park’s abundant wildlife. Traverse grasslands towards the acacia forest on the southern route, possibly encountering giraffes and buffalo. After approximately 2 hours, rest at Maio Falls, then proceed through the ‘fig tree arch.’ Enjoy a break at a spectacular viewpoint before reaching Miriakamba Hut after 4-5 hours.

*Day 3 – Miriakamba Hut (2,500m/8,200ft) to Saddle Hut (3,550m/11,650ft)*
*Elevation Gain:* 1,050m/3,450ft
Continue upward along a steep track to “Mgongo wa Tembo” (elephant back) after about 2 hours. The rainforest often envelops in mist, creating a mystical ambiance. Experience a transition from rainforest to heather and moorland. After lunch, opt for a hike to Little Meru (3,820m), offering acclimatization and stunning views of Arusha National Park and Kilimanjaro. Retire early at Saddle Hut after a warm meal.

*Day 4 – Saddle Hut (3,550m/11,650ft) to Socialist Peak (4,562m/14,968ft) then descending to Miriakamba Hut (2,500m/8,200ft)*
*Elevation Gain:* 1,012m/3,318ft *Elevation Loss:* 2,062m/6,768ft
Awaken at midnight for the final ascent. Navigate by headlamp through bush to Rhino Point (3,821m), where the trail becomes more challenging, occasionally requiring scrambling. Follow the crater rim across frozen volcanic ash and rocks, reaching the summit in 4-5 hours. Witness a breathtaking sunrise over Kilimanjaro and gaze into Mount Meru’s crater. Descend via the same route to Saddle Hut for replenishing with hot soup and tea. Continue to Miriakamba Hut.
*Note:* The summit includes some easy but unsecured scrambling sections. Comfort with heights and sure-footedness are necessary. In inclement weather, the park ranger may cancel the summit attempt.
*Overnight:* Miriakamba Hut
*Day 5 – Miriakamba Hut (2,500m/8,200ft) to Momella Gate (1,580m/5,180 ft)*
*Elevation Loss:* 920m/3,020ft
After breakfast, trek the northern route back to Momella Gate. During this 2-3-hour journey, spot giraffes, buffalo, elephants, and black and white Colobus monkeys. Bid farewell to your hiking crew upon arriving at the gate, then transfer to your accommodation for a well-deserved rest.

*Day 6 – Departure:*
